Our mission is to serve those on the ground who are affected by the conflict in Ukraine through the provision of much needed supplies.
White Eagle Appeal
Through this process we have been approached by many Ukrainian’s asking for support in several areas of the country.
We are now working with The Polish embassy, Caritas and the Ukrainian government to send aid to where it is most needed. Within the first 3 weeks of the war we had delivered over 1000 tons of essential supplies.
We never expected this operation to grow as large as it has, but now we are in a position with all supply chains and contacts in place to deliver aid immediately to where it is desperately required. The scale of this crisis is still growing daily, and we all have to do whatever we can to help.
The White Eagle Appeal is the largest community based, humanitarian aid donation and delivery operation in the UK. Born from The White Eagle Club, a Polish community centre in Balham the appeal has grown to a large-scale operation dispatching up to 5 HGV’s a day.
As soon as the war broke out The White Eagle Club put out a request to the community for aid donations, which we sorted and delivered to the Ukrainian border using our logistic supply chain already established for our Polish food import business.
The amount of donations we received was overwhelming, and as such we have increased capacity, utilising multiple warehouses around London.

How dowe work
What do we procure?
We supply consumer goods such as food, and drink to the refugee centers in Poland where it is then transported to those in need on both sides of the border. We liaise formally with the Polish agencies, Ukrainian government and charities such as Caritas, Mom to Mom, Coordination Centre for kids, evacuated from the orphanages.
We provide safe passage for first aid supplies, wound and burn care. These are requests from medical centers and charities on the ground. These contacts ensure that we are able to deliver what is needed at that site.
The network we have has been transporting goods between the UK and Poland for over 20 years. These relationships, knowledge and insights gave us speed and operations efficiency.
Where do we supply it to?
There are several locations within Poland that we supply into, some of these have been established as a result of the conflict and are run by local charities or the Polish government. These locations are also where aid is transferred to Ukrainian drivers for direct deliveries to Ukraine.
Where does it leave from?
We have two distribution warehouses in London based in Croydon and Tooting. These locations are registered wholesale sites that are capable of loading large pallets into HGV’s. There is a specialist team on site who ensure that the goods are loaded correctly and securely.
Handling the goods?
By working with authorities in all the countries involved, having the shipping procedures in place and by handling the goods directly, we ensure that the end destination is reached at speed, in a controlled and secure way.
The White Eagle club in south London has been filled to the rafters with donated goods after launching a fundraising appeal to help those fleeing Ukraine.
